About gloal and purpose
The purpose of the association is to develop and support the Ukrainian segment of entrepreneurship in Finland and abroad, exchange knowledge, experience and practices, establish professional ties, create an atmosphere of trust and cooperation among Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Finland, develop Finnish-Ukrainian business partnerships, and cooperate between Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Finland and other countries of the world. The Association of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs in Finland is a politically independent association. Membership is not automatic, new members are accepted into the association by its Board on the basis of a submitted application and paid entry fee. An applicant may be denied membership if he does not meet the requirements for the business reputation of the association members.
To achieve its goal, the association:
Organizes meetings and social events.
Organizes business missions, exhibitions, economic forums and delegations between entrepreneurs of Finland and other countries
Maintains relations with authorities and other organizations regarding the Ukrainian business segment in Finland
Conducts seminars, workshops and consultation events on issues of entrepreneurial activity in Finland
Provides financial assistance to members of the association
Uses the work of hired specialists

Hi! My name is Oleksandr (Alex) Subtselnyi, and I am honored to welcome you as the Head of our Association. When I built my career and businesses in Finland—from serving as CTO at a Finnish pharmaceutical IT company that creates solutions for pharmacies across the Nordics, to founding BARADATA Oy, an IT company here —I realized how powerful technology, expertise, and community can be when brought together. My developers and I are building and donating this digital platform for free because we genuinely believe in the potential of Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Finland. We want every business owner to have the digital tools, visibility, and backing they need to succeed. Here is why this platform and our community matter so deeply to me—and to all of us: We Grow Together, Not Alone My main motivation is to foster a strong, collaborative ecosystem where we support one another. Here, we are not competitors—we are partners ready to share resources, lend a helping hand, and rise together. We aim to ensure our voice is heard and respected by municipalities, government bodies, and local institutions, protecting your business interests and fostering better opportunities. I know how the state system works, and at the same time, I understand how Ukrainian entrepreneurs think. I firmly believe that Ukrainian entrepreneurs do not need to break themselves when changing their country of residence. We have a powerful foundation of Ukrainian identity — our history, innate resourcefulness, and flexibility. That is why, without abandoning our own experience, we can refine our skills and build in Finland not just a new 'Finnish' business, but a Ukrainian business — with its strength, determination, and ability to find solutions where others don't see them. I am convinced that the combination of Ukrainian indomitability and Finnish 'sisu' is the formula for success in Finland.
